Tanner Star-Tree

Tanner Star-Tree

Tanner Star-Tree holds a myriad of integrative tools and modalities that are often personalized and specialized for unique individuals, groups, and spaces. He has lived among Himalayan yogis and swamis of India, working with Kundalini Shavaism and Egyptian Alchemy meditations and numerous breathwork modalities for over 12 years. He then spent 4 years living, volunteering, working and studying under numerous medicine men and women in Peru and Ecuador. Through the traditional portals of the 4, 7, and 9 day vision quests and sacred Sun dances he has been initiated as a firekeeper, water pourer, and guide through the Sacred Fire. He is adopted by the Rosebud branch of the Lakota Sioux as a federally recognized Native American medicine man. He works with the Q’ero Peruvian cosmology, chakana medicine wheel and mesa bundle as a foundation for his own and collective work as passed down to him through the lineage of his teachers and soul family in the Bouquet of Light.

Tanner sees his time at Anahata as a profound opportunity to assist in the anchoring of plasma light codes into the New Earth. Here, some of the services he offers are: private individual energy sessions and channelings; group Q’ero Mesa building classes; luminous body work group workshops; sweat lodge, cacao, water, and fire ceremonies; cacao intiatory dietas and classes; gentle vision quests (without psychedelics); altar, permaculture, and intentional landscape design; shamanic journeying in group transmissions and workshops; first nations’ sacred dances; among other tools, services and modalities uniquely interwoven in each authentic moment.

Tanner’s Reiki/Energywork Sessions are $120 for 90 minutes. Other services/sessions can be arranged through meeting with Tanner.

Licensed Massage Therapist, Massage, Somatic Bodywork, Reiki

Hello! I am a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing nervous system-oriented bodywork that is ideal for those experiencing chronic pain or anxiety, or anyone who seeks a deeply attuned session with a thorough, sensitive therapist. I draw from multiple modalities in my work; I can deliver any level of pressure from deep to light, and incorporate stretching and assisted movement exercises as well.

I offer two types of massage sessions . . .

Nervous System Oriented Massage—my “standard” massage offering, great for those looking to relieve muscle tension, relax, and find relief from chronic pain. Includes optional heat pads and aromatherapy for no extra charge!

Somatic Bodywork—Drawing from Cranial Sacral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing, this light touch bodywork is for people looking to quiet their nervous system and work on emotional regulation.

REIKI – I recently became Reiki certified, and will soon be offering 60 minute Reiki sessions as well.

Hands-on bodywork sessions at Anahata are $90/60 min and $120/90To book a session, please contact me directly. My phone number is 540 449 9690.

Dr. Angelica Perry

Dr Perry discovered her capacity to address the issues of the body in her first career as a massage therapist.  Her degrees in clinical nutrition also inform her practice.  She then underwent further intensive training in traditional medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal manipulation, and as an Osteopathic physician, she now offers hands-on treatment as well as concierge primary care. Osteopathic medicine respects the ability of each body to heal itself. In addition to being used to treat musculoskeletal issues, osteopathic hands-on medicine can be helpful in a number of metabolic or organ dysfunctions. Osteopathic hands-on treatment can help relieve headaches and other pains, improve lymphatic flow, organ function and promote overall health.  Dr Perry can also diagnose and prescribe as needed, and works with each client to tailor a custom regime.  Her complementary approach tailors a full-spectrum wellness program to address any health challenges.  Dr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from Life University in Marietta, Ga., where she was the valedictorian, and a Master of Science degree in clinical nutrition from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, N.Y. Full Spectrum Wellness Care Osteopathic Care Package – $600

Osteopathic medicine is the practice of partnering between doctor and patient to achieve optimal health. It teaches that we are a unity of body mind and spirit and that each body is capable of self-healing.  Structure and function are interrelated which is why hands-on techniques are used to normalize range of motion, improve the flow of fluids and stimulate each body’s innate powers of repair and rejuvenation. This package includes a 1-hour initial visit and a 1/2 hour follow up visit with Dr. Perry.  Discussion, evaluation, education and medical management are included.  From back pain and headaches to gallbladder or thyroid issues, any function of the body may benefit from improving bony alignment and removing fascial restrictions. Dr. Perry takes the time to listen and respects each person’s right to make their own informed healthcare decisions.

“She was able to clear up all the residual pain and immobility and taught me some simple exercises that have since cured some joint problems that I thought were from age and arthritis.  Dr. Perry has a gift of healing in addition to her education in Osteopathic Medicine.  I highly recommend her services.” – Paul Wingren

MindBody Centering Yoga

MindBody Centering Yoga was developed in 1979 by nina be as experienced guidance into a process of Self-Mastery. It was created using researched techniques in creative movement, ballet, Hatha/raja yoga, neuroscience, alexander technique, music, chakra study, somatics, trauma resolution, psychology, ritual, and applied mindfulness as taught by Thich Nhat Hanh.

Today MBCY lives at centering.life, because that is what it does.

MindBody Centering Yoga is a unique and trauma-informed approach to living yoga, accumulating over 45 years of personal research, education, inspiration, and international experience.

Living Juicy Women’s Retreat

Aug 20-22, 2021

At the Living Juicy Women’s Retreat we be exploring the real medicine of Tantra and tuning into ourselves and each other on the subtle realm. This is not about sex practices, although there may be some juicy discussions, the real Tantra is about finding the simple and subtle pleasures in all of life, and using the energy of pleasure and satisfaction to manifest our dreams.

Tune in to Nature • Tune in to Desire • Tune in to Spirit

Using practices such as yoga, mudra, mantra, mandala and more, will take us into the stillness of the heart where we will call forth and activate our dharma – or truest heart’s longing. From this place we will find our powerful intention or sankalpa and utilizing the practice of yoga nidra, we will imprint it on our subconscious. Participants will be given the tools to make lasting change and the work we do in the retreat will help immensely towards the fulfillment of life purpose and deep longings.

Living Juicy is learning to love ourselves, our family, and this earth so that we can live the juiciest, most fulfilling life possible.

The word Tantra: is Sanskrit and literally means, “a continuum, or unbroken stream [of energy].”

The term Tantra refers first (1) to the continuum of vital energy that sustains all existence, and second (2) to the class of knowledge and practices that harnesses that vital energy, thereby transforming the practitioner.

Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India. The literal Sanskrit translation is the ‘science of life’.

It’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit.

In Sanskrit Yoga means ‘to yoke’ or to find union with your higher self. It is more than just stretching, yoga is a spiritual practice that incorporates many tools, all with the intent to help quiet the mind and prepare the body to connect deeply to the source.

A mantra is a sacred utterance, a numinous sound, a syllable, word or phonemes, or group of words in Sanskrit that has psychological and/or spiritual powers. Mantra, whether chanted, whispered, or silently recited, is a powerful meditation and therapy tool.

mudra (/muˈdrɑː/ Sanskrit: मुद्रा, IAST: mudrā, “seal”, “mark”, or “gesture”; is a symbolic or ritual gesture performed by the hands, often used in practicing Hinduism and Buddhism; it is a spiritual gesture that acts as an “energetic seal of authenticity”. Mudras act to stimulate different parts of the body involved with breathing and to affect the flow of energy in the body and even one’s mood.

Mandala (Sanskrit: मण्डल Maṇḍala, ‘circle’) is a spiritual and ritual symbol representing the Universe. The basic form of most mandalas is a square with four gates containing a circle with a center point.

Yantra (यन्त्र) (Sanskrit) (literally “machine, contraption”[1]) is a mystical diagram, an instrument for restraining or fastening, a prop, support or barrier, etymologically from the root yam “to sustain, support” and the -tra suffix expressing instruments.
