Small Private Wedding/Elopement with just the bride, groom, and possibly a handful of friends. Choice of daytime riverside or indoor great room. Brief standing reception may be arranged. No riverside lights or tents included. Up to 3 hour time frame. $125-325 depending on complexity and timeframe.
Indoor Wedding in two-story timber frame great room for 6-60 guests seated in rows with central aisle. Brief casual reception may be included, use of bridal suite for preparation, parking area with attendant. 3 – 5 hour timeframe. $325-1500 depending upon complexity, timeframe and numbers.
Full Indoor Reception in two-story timber frame great room for 6-60 guests. Use of decks, main level. 4 – 6 hour time frame $325-1500 depending upon complexity, timeframe and numbers.
Riverside Wedding with 6-80 guests. Use of parking area with attendant, wedding chairs set up, tables with cloths and chairs set up and put away. Use of grassy area and riverstage area as desired. 3 – 5 hour timeframe. $325-1500 depending upon complexity, timeframe and numbers.
Riverside Reception for 6-80 guests with white chairs set around up to 12 60″ round tables (tables and chairs arranged to your specification), additional buffet tables, bartender station set up, trash/recycling set up, 2 stocked and ready outhouses, river pavilion and stage for dance reception, parking attendant, lights at river sight and on stage/pavilion. 4 – 8 hours. $325-1500 depending upon numbers and complexity.
Guest Accommodations Weekend Rental Two night minimum, typically Friday 10 am through Sunday 3 pm. Three full levels of our ‘Celebration Space’ for 12-15 overnight guests; includes bridal suite, gathering spaces, decks, hot tub, kitchen and dining facilities, riverfront area, fire circle, spaces for campers during warmer weather. Guests bring own food, prepare own meals in fully equipped kitchens (2). Bed linens and towels provided. $1500-1800 depending on numbers
All-Inclusive Indoor Weekend Wedding Package ~ Celebration Space! – Rental of the entire main house/’Celebration Space’ with wandering access to the grounds/riverfront, weekend stays for 12-15 guests in the main house (two overnights/three days – typically Friday morning through Sunday afternoon), indoor wedding and reception for up to 60 guests plus wedding party, set up and use of up to 8 60″ round tables, 64 white folding chairs, additional assorted tables, white tablecloths on all tables; trash/recycling set up, use and technical assistance with indoor sound system for both ceremony and reception, two fully equipped kitchens, 6 bedrooms (one office converted to queen bedroom), bridal suite. Includes use of decks, hot tub, grounds and riverside area, one parking attendant for arrival hour, and one or two event coordinators for the wedding/reception. You may also hold onsite rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, Sunday brunch, etc. $4400 includes wedding coordination package – see description below. : )
All-Inclusive Grand Indoor/Outdoor Weekend Wedding Package ~ Riverside & Celebration Space! – Our fullest package includes full facility rental including up to 12-15 guests in the main house and up to 12 guests camping riverside for two overnights/three days (typically Friday 10 am through Sunday 2 pm). You have the option for either a Riverside OR Celebration Space wedding & reception for up to 80 guests with up to 12 60″ round tables; up to 80 white chairs (tables and chairs arranged to your specification), additional assorted tables, white tablecloths on all tables; bartender station, trash/recycling set up, 2 stocked outhouses & outdoor hand-washing sink/station, river pavilion and stage ready and powered for dance reception, sound system & microphones for ceremony and dancing, one parking attendant for arrival hour, onsite infrastructure support throughout the event, lights set up for all riverside areas. As rainy or cooler weather may change the location of the ceremony and reception, final determination is ideally made by Friday morning for a Saturday wedding. ** This includes our Wedding Coordinator Package which gives you 20 hours of service from our ‘tornado of creativity’ Wedding Planning/Coordinator, and 10 hours of wedding/reception set up/clean up. $5000 with wedding coordination package; $5400 with wedding coordination package PLUS OFFICIANT Kathryn Ashera Rose who would participate in wedding rehearsal, ceremony, reception and an extra dollop of creative help with wedding planning as well. : )

Wedding Coordinator Package: $750 Let our wedding specialist take you through the process! 5 hours of in-person or virtual pre-wedding planning and assistance, 20 hours of on-site wedding prep/facilitation/clean up the weekend of the wedding. Additional coordinator hours @ $30/hour may apply if you opt for more assistance with the myriad details of a wedding!
Additional wedding assistants $200 This invaluable assistants at $20 per hour help set and clean up at the wedding site. With a large reception, and using our plateware/cutlery, it is recommended to hire two people for 5 hours each with staggered/overlapping hours. $200 total

A LA CARTE
Celebrant/Officiant services, including initial consultation, wedding ceremony design, rehearsal, ceremony, signed copy of your marriage license. On site: $250-500 depending upon the complexity of the wedding experience. Travel may be extra.
Celebrant/Officiant Deluxe Package includes a fuller process of guiding you through the creation of your wedding ceremony, including four in-person or virtual planning sessions, an overnight couples getaway at Anahata to dream, plan and write vows, wedding rehearsal, ceremony, signed copy of your marriage license. $600
Sound system and attendant Riverside $70 first hour; $40 for each additional hour. In celebration space $50 first hour; $25 each additional hour.
Professional wedding coordination, catering, flowers, photography, and other services – We have an array of suggestions for each of these ~ ask for our list of recommendations! Our own wedding coordinator is $30 per hour before/during/after.
White tents & lights – One 29′ x 33′ white tent set up riverside AND accompanying LIGHTS completely set up and taken down – $600.
Bridal Suite – and upstairs loft are available for preparation and post-wedding changes. $125 per day depending on hours/complexity.
Riverside Camping – When not part of a wedding package, campers can pay $50 per night per camping spot, which includes use of warm outdoor showers, and access to river kitchen. Only available during the warm months of the year.
Studio Apartment Rentals – We typically have two studio guest apartments that have everything you need — two night minimum at $100 per night plus a one time $40 cleaning fee. These are on Superhost Airbnb with 4.8 stars, but can be booked directly with us to save some Airbnb fees. Each apartment has one queen bed plus full-size innerspring futon/sofa bed, full bath w/ shower, sitting area, table and chairs, mini-split a/c and heat, lovely furnishings, fully equipped kitchenette, etc.
Tables & chairs – Generally $10 per wedding guest includes chairs, tables, tablecloths, set up and take down. $5 per chair set up/take down and $5 per table; $5 per tablecloth if there is a limited number of tables used. Movement of chairs between ceremony and reception is co-coordinated with the wedding party.
Wedding Insurance – We require wedding parties to obtain their own wedding insurance (a one time fee – usually $100-150 – easily taken care of with your insurance company or at various online sites) and to name Anahata Education Center as an insured on that policy.
Deposit – We require a $500 deposit in order to reserve the dates! $200 is non-refundable; 2 months ahead of wedding time $500 is non-refundable. We are compassionate and flexible in pandemic times and for family emergencies. We are willing to reschedule and apply deposits to future stays or events or wellness sessions.
OUR GUIDELINES & POLICIES
As a retreat center and intentional community, we care about harmony and the environment, so we ask that our bridal parties . . .
- Be gentle with nature, and recycle as much as possible – glass, plastic, metal; and ask that disposable paperware and cutlery products be compostable. We have a forest bin for such compostable recyclables.
- We ask for a minimal use of alcohol and care in monitoring those drinking and driving
- This is a no-smoking facility, however we are willing to designate specific smoking areas away from buildings, and the use of metal receptacles for cigarette butts
- No illegal substances or activities
- No pets at weddings
